DC Child Care Connections, the District’s child care resource and referral (CCR&R) system, can help families connect with early care and education opportunities including educational and financial resources. How can I report a complaint or unusual incident at a child development facility?

To submit a complaint  about a child development facility, call the Complaint and Unusual Incidents Hotline at (202) 727-2993 or send an email to [email protected]. Complaints may also be faxed to the Licensing and Compliance Unit at (202) 727-7295. This contact information can be used to submit complaints for any matter related to a child development facility, including complaints related to child development facility compliance with licensing regulations; child, staff or facility safety concerns; or subsidized child care eligibility services. 

I operate a child development facility licensed by OSSE and want to update the information on my facility’s profile on My Child Care DC. Whom should I contact?

To update your facility profile on My Child Care DC, contact your OSSE licensing specialist. If you are not sure who your licensing specialist is, email [email protected].
