Mission Statement
The 18th Street Early Learning Child Development Center's mission is to develop lifelong learners by taking advantage of the teachable moments that happen each day. A caring, cooperative daycare center environment that promotes cultural values and supports positive relationships and respectful interactions are one in that children will thrive. In addition, it is an environment that allows children to learn through hands-on experiences that will enable more abstract thinking. A safe, healthy, and culturally diverse environment is crucial to a child's growth and development. Therefore, we provide a child-centered curriculum (The Creative Curriculum) directed by teachers and children to construct knowledge. We believe that the 18th Street Early Learning Child Development Centers program reflects the need and goals of children and families. We look forward to working closely with you to provide quality care and learning for children.
